Good price value for what you pay and what you get.

What you pay for a room plus all the extras is a lot ; dinner, breakfast, and free transport to the airport. It surprises us a bit. Really friendly working people.

The hotel has such a great roof top but doesn't use it well. Pool wasn't clean. I would rather pay a bit more so I can use facilities as this properly. For me personal the bed was to soft so I couldn't sleep that well, but my partner as a baby so it's a personal thing.

AVOID: THERE ARE BETTER AND MORE AFFORDABLE OPTIONS ELSEWHERE

We want to warn other travellers about this place: just AVOID. There are more affordable places, places for the same price which offer far more. We were in Cebu City for longer than we had expected, our plan had been to go to the islands but because of the typhoon this wasn't possible. We stayed in affordable to mid-range hotels in Cebu, this was actually the most expensive one we stayed in, certainly not cheap for Cebu. It was our last night and we thought we would try to find a slightly 'nicer' hotel, the reviews seemed to suggest this was a decent place with a pool and transport to the airport, so we booked it online. Unfortunately, this was not only the worst hotel we have stayed at in Cebu but possibly the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. To be clear, we did not expect luxury, but we expected the basic minimum at least, these standard requirements were not met. We also felt completely misled by some of the positive reviews, which are frankly confounding because they seem to be talking about a completely different hotel. Come and see for yourself first (we made the mistake of booking online and there was no cancellation), the first impressions aren't great and go downhill from there. Everything is worn and rundown, there's the constant smell of fat from the kitchen to the left of the reception. There are stains on the sofas. The bottom of your shoes stick to the floor as you walk through the corridors. The one good thing was leaving: we did actually manage to get a free shuttle to the airport (we were skeptical about anything at this point), make sure to leave in good time (traffic and check-in and immigration are very very slow) and tell the driver which terminal you want. You will also need to pay a 1000php deposit for the room, should you damage anything that wasn't damaged in the first place. We did get this back but this was not mentioned beforehand. The location is central, but quite a hectic neighbour, especially at night.

1.) toilet plumbing was terrible. No pressure. My partner finally had to use the bin to fill it with water to flush the toilet. There was a cockroach in the bin. 2.) the bathroom is lit like an alleyway at night. This is probably deliberate, you don't want to see too clearly in here. Limescale on the showerhead and taps, mould in corners. There was hot water at least. And toiletteries. The tap is loose and grubby. 3.) the room has a view of a wall, but this isn't the worst part, there is absolutely no Internet access in the room. I went down and the manager (?) explained to me with a smile that when there are many people in the hotel, the Internet doesn't work. He said there was WiFi in the reception. He didn't understand the problem. 4.) TV has some cable channels, but you will be lucky to hear the sound over the roar of the old AC right next to the TV in the window. The TV is stuck on the wall with as much care as everything else, cables dangle held with tape. 5.) we asked about the pool. The manager said it will be ready in the evening, later, later. We never saw the pool. 5.)There are stains on the carpet. Keep your shoes on, there are no slippers. 6.) pillows smelt dank and unclean, the covers were synthetic, same as cushion covers. Why? 7.) the free meals are free for a reason, they are awful. We had a choice between fried fish or chicken from an already limited menu. A woman shouted out, "my chicken isn't cooked!" 8.) there was one plug socket in the entire room. 9.) there is no fridge, you need to buy your own bottled water, or ask for it to be refilled. 10.) everything is grimey and neglected. The room smelt unaired, the general hotel smelt of grease. Maybe we were just unlucky and got the worst room, the staff were having bad days, the cook too, but judging from the expressions of other guests this didn't seem to be the case. I think wanting a basic standard of cleanliness and comfort isn't a high demand.

The room was quite clean and the rooms were not too small. I am really bad at the review writing but I thought it deserved a shout out on how much I enjoyed my time here. I loved the location, as it’s in the city centre, so it was easy to get to places with google map, and the locals were quite helpful as well.
